ENCOUNTER VISUAL ART ON TEXEL IN 2026

 

We are very pleased to be able to offer youArt on Texel again in 2026. Besides peace, space, and nature, the rich cultural life also makes Texel unique. "Texel CultuurEiland" would like to bring this to your attention with several special art routes.The artistic offerings on the island have grown enormously in recent decades in both size and diversity.It is precisely this diversity of galleries, exhibition spaces, artists' studios at home, and special locations that makes the art routes across the island so attractive and well-organized for both tourists and Texel residents. And certainly also easy to cycle!

 

There are four art routes this year:

1. the Den Burg route on Wednesday.

2. the Den Hoorn route onThursday.

3. the Hoge Berg/Oudeschild route on Saturday.

4. The Oosterend, Oost, Eierland, and Noorden routes are open on Sundays.

 

The artists on the route maps are open on their regular route days from April to September.However, their opening hours vary from a minimum ofa few months to a maximum of 6 months (or even the entire year).You will find the exact opening hours for each location in the brief explanation withthe maps and the information that follows.
